FAQ & Pricing

First, a quick note: As the owners of a travel agency, my wife and I get access to great group rates. Rather than heavily marking up our rates to make money on these trips, we earn commission on the bookings. We add a small fee to the deposit in order to cover the extras we include (court rentals, prizes, airport transportation, etc.) and some back-end costs, but our trips are significantly lower cost than our competitors, without sacrificing quality and fun.

Our rates are actually less than booking the resort stay on your own (plus you get private court rentals, t-shirt, swag, and social events). Basically, you're getting a great deal. Why? PICKLEBALL / Trip Details Questions

1. Q: Can non-players come? A: Yes. Pricing is the same for non-players. Non-player spots may be more limited in order to ensure we have enough space for players.

2. Q: Can I come solo? A: Yes. Solo pricing may be higher depending on the trip (contact us for details), but we can match you with a roommate if desired.

3. Q: How do I determine my skill level? A: Self-rated, DUPR, or your local club/group rating system, etc. PLEASE get a rating from a non-biased third party if you're not sure. Accurate skill level ratings help us group players by skill level, which makes the games more fun for everyone. You may be moved to a different division during a trip if we determine you're not in the correct division, or you may be asked to sit out if you're significantly below the specified rating listed for a trip.

4. Q: Tournament formats? A: Divisions will generally be 'gender blind', split only by skill level (depending on # of players). That means you play in whichever division best matches your skill level, and partners can be MM, MW, or WW, and your opponents may not match your team's gender makeup. Singles may happen in addition, depending on interest.

5. Q: How much open play? What hours? A: For resort trips, we rent between 3 and 5 hours of court time daily for open play, and sometimes more on tournament days. Usually we start at 8am to avoid the heat, but nobody is required to start that early if you're a late riser. There are 8+ courts at the resorts for our upcoming trip, and nobody has ever complained about not getting in enough pickleball on our trips. Want to rent extra court time? Let us know when you sign up and we can likely arrange that (at discounted rates).

6. Q: Is tournament participation required? A: Technically no, but they're fun, and there will be prizes. We play hard, but it's a very chill tournament environment. No stressful yelling about line calls or thrown paddles. Join us!

7. Q: I'm in! How do I book my trip??? A: Go to the 'REGISTER!' page to book. And share the link with your friends- More interest means we can run more trips!

RESORT Questions

1. 1. Q: What do the resorts include? A: Unlimited food, drinks, water sports, land sports, daily/nightly entertainment, and more. They're 'all-inclusive' resorts, so generally speaking you won't spend extra money there (other than tips and spa services). Future trips may include cruises or resorts/destinations that are not all-inclusive.

PRICING Questions

1. 1. Q: What does the price of the trip get me? A: Our AWESOME pricing gets you full access to an all-inclusive resort, 2 pickleball tournaments, daily private open play just for our group, trip t-shirt, arrival day meet & greet, and at least 1 or 2 other social and/or pickleball activities (trivia, games, beach day, etc.). Future trips will have similar inclusions but may vary based on court availability and other factors.

   2. Q: What's not included? A: Flights, off-resort excursions, tips, travel insurance, and winning your pickleball games.. You gotta earn the wins yourself, so bring your A-game!
